The high price of night vision goggles is mostly due to the advanced technology and materials needed to make them. These devices https://www.agmglobalvision.com/why-are-night-vision-goggles-so-expensive rely on sensitive image intensifier tubes, which may amplify dim light to give visibility in low-light conditions. The precision and specialized components needed to manufacture these tubes significantly increase their price. Also, the police, military, and niche civilian markets are major buyers of night vision goggles. Companies in these areas prioritize quality above cost since their customers are willing to pay a premium for it.
